Wilesco D320 Steam Lorry

This nostalgic Wilesco steam lorry is a wonderful miniature recreation of a historical style of steam lorry from around 1915.

The truck, with tarpaulin and tipping wood back inspired by their full-size counterparts, has a fully functional steam propulsion powered by a single-cylinder, double-acting unit specially designed for this mobile steam engine housed in the driver's cab.

The roof of the driver's cab is held by a magnetic clasp and can be easily removed to fill the standing steam boiler with water. The burner tray is located between the wheels of the front axle of the Wilesco D320 steam truck. The steering (right/left) is done using a mechanical cable remote control located under the truck's cab (it is not a radio remote control). Note: Forward and reverse steering control is not possible with this model.
