Live Steam Gel
Suitable for Mamod and Jensen burner trays.
A safer fuel for your steam engine – does not contain Hexamine or any other regulated ingredients. This fantastic new gel is a great alternative to solid fuel tablets; it burns to produce a fine, white ash with minimal fumes giving a good length run time in your favourite steam engines!
- Non-hazardous
- Safe for long term storage and transportation
- Suitable for storage in high temperatures
- One 250ml pouch is enough for approximately 12 -15 steams for an average-sized model steam engine.
- Holds shape when burning meaning no issue for use in existing trays.
- Screw-top nozzle for easy storage and dispensing.
Currently suitable for Mamod and Jensen burner trays.
This gel is not recommended for use in Wilesco burner trays however a genuine, Wilesco fuel is now available on our website.

Supplied in a 60ml safety lock bottle, it’s easy to dispense, safe to store, and ideal for regular maintenance of engines.
